Jun — Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 15, 2026

Overview

Jun is a pomodoro timer for macOS. Your privacy is fundamental to our design — Jun collects no data whatsoever.

Screen Capture

Jun uses macOS ScreenCaptureKit to capture your screen content solely for rendering the water ripple visual effect during breaks. The captured image is:

• Processed entirely on your device using Metal GPU shaders
• Never stored to disk
• Never transmitted over any network
• Discarded immediately when the break ends

Data Collection

Jun does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking
• No crash reporting
• No network connections
• No cookies or identifiers
• No user accounts

Third-Party Services

Jun uses no third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect data.
