Shh is a desktop application that processes audio and video files locally on your Mac. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting as little data as possible.
When you activate a license, we process the following through our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy):
We do not collect your name, email, or payment details directly. All payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy. See their privacy policy for details.
All audio and video files are processed entirely on your local device. No files, audio data, or processing results are ever uploaded to our servers or any third party.
The Software periodically checks for updates via Sparkle (an open-source update framework). This sends a standard HTTP request to our server containing only your app version and macOS version. No personal information is included.
The only third-party service the Software communicates with is:
Your license key is stored locally on your device in the macOS Keychain. We do not maintain a database of user information beyond what Lemon Squeezy stores for order processing.
The Software is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
